Wisconsin Extension agronomists and horticulturalists respond to the needs of Wisconsin growers and related agribusinesses.  Programs are developed that build the knowledge base and decision-making skills of agricultural professionals in the state.  This involves workshops, hands-on training sessions, field days, and a diversity of educational meetings and materials.

The Wisconsin Crop Manager newsletter is a weekly publication that provides real-time information on current agricultural and horticultural issues throughout the growing season.

The Agronomy Advice articles are short articles that address specific weed problems or other weed management issues.  Many of the articles found here are also found elsewhere on this website.

Weed Profiles are information-packed fact sheets about specific weeds including their biology, habitat, distribution, importance, and management.

Current herbicide labels and IPM strategies are discussed in the Weed Management section.  Herbicide registrations that occur after the printed recommendation publications have gone to press are also found here.

Herbicide Injury symptoms, modes of action and occurrences of resistance in weed publications are also found on this page.

As the Wisconsin Noxious Weed Law is reviewed and revised, articles and news releases will be posted here.
